Our Commitment

CAMS services is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and vulnerable individuals. Everyone has the right to be protected from harm.

Key Principles

  • All children have the right to be safe.
  • We work in partnership with families and professionals.
  • We maintain a safe environment for every session.
  • All staff are DBS checked and receive safeguarding training.

Reporting Concerns

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately by emailing safeguarding@camsservices.co.uk.

Training and Development

All staff receive regular safeguarding training, supervision, and updates to ensure best practice.

Review

This policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary.

Sports support programme: young person taking part in outdoor sports mentoring with a CAMS practitioner
Fitness mentoring and wellbeing support: one-to-one fitness and wellbeing session for a young person
Chaperone services and child transport: DBS-checked practitioner supporting safe community access and supervised child transport
Behaviour support and SEMH mentoring: behavioural management and conflict resolution session with a young person
Youth mentoring services: one-to-one mentoring and coaching conversation between practitioner and young person
Family support services: family support and parent coaching session with CAMS services
SEND support services: SEN and education support activity tailored to additional learning needs
