About CAMS

10+ years and 500+ families supported through consistent trust-first mentoring and structured interventions.

Our story

About CAMS services

CAMS services is a UK provider of chaperone transport, youth mentoring, SEND support, and family coaching for children and young people. For more than ten years we have supported over five hundred families with trauma-informed mentoring, chaperone transport, and structured intervention packages.

Our model is trust-first: young people need predictable adults, clear boundaries, and strengths-based feedback before harder goals feel achievable. We align with schools, social workers, and carers so messaging stays consistent across home and education.

CAMS services recruits practitioners against rigorous safeguarding standards, provides ongoing supervision, and documents outcomes for referrers who need audit-ready evidence. We believe every child deserves safe transport, respectful mentoring, and support that meets SEND and SEMH needs without stigma.

Our journey

Our story

CAMS exists so every young person can feel seen, supported, and able to move forward. We pair structured mentoring with boxing, fitness, routines, and community activity, because engagement often starts through doing, not just talking.

Built on real relationships

CAMS was founded on a simple belief: every young person deserves the chance to thrive. We began in schools and neighbourhoods, learning that when adults show up consistently, and use activity as a bridge, young people often re-engage with education, peer groups, and their own goals.

From those early partnerships, CAMS grew into a full mentoring organisation supporting hundreds of families across the UK, with transparent routes for referral and a menu of services schools can align to their cohorts.

Our framework

Mission & values

Our mission keeps every session honest: trusted relationships first, structured activity second, and outcomes that belong to the young person.

Mission statement
To provide trusted chaperone, transport, mentoring and support services that are safe, reliable, and tailored to individual needs.

Consistency

Reliable sessions and predictable boundaries so young people know someone will show up for them.

Care

Warm, non-judgemental relationships that honour each young person's story and pace.

Integrity

Honest communication with families, schools, and agencies, aligned with safeguarding practice.

Evidence-based

Approaches grounded in what works in youth mentoring and youth work, reviewed as we learn.

Growth-minded

We focus on strengths, small wins, and progress over perfection, building agency step by step.

Collaboration

We work with parents, schools, and partners so support feels joined-up, not isolated.
